Sail in a historic wooden barge through Tower Bridge from Greenwich to Tower Pier. See Tower Bridge opening for you as you go. Built in 1923, this boat is one of the few remaining boat of it’s kind left in the world.
This is a truly special and unique way to explore the city. Sail past The Cutty Sark, Canary Wharf, City Hall and The Tower of London. There is a bar below deck in case you would like to buy some drinks or snacks.
Lady Daphne was one of the many thousands of Thames sailing barges built for the English coastal trade. Now there are fewer than 40 barges left in Britain, and fewer than 10 wooden barges with passenger certificates.
Warm and waterproof clothes in case it’s cold or wet when you go out on deck. Sensible shoes.
